Only way Bush finishes his term is if by some reverse miracle, the rightwing GOP holds onto congress, or if not, then democrats make a strategic decision not to impeach Bush because they'd rather have him around as a powerless punching bag and poster boy for ineptitude and corruption. Also, Cheney has to be removed first. Cheney is a real villain. No way democrats are going to tolerate his presence for a day longer than necessary. So you can bet they'll be all over him. Grounds for impeachment (take your pick): Proven: - Deliberately lying to get us into quagmire war - Deliberately outing key CIA agent during war-time for personal political revenge - Deliberately breaking laws on domestic surveillance May Be Proven: - Various election fraud charges - Role in massive energy gouging scheme - Role in massive theft of Iraqi oil and missing billions in Iraq
