Bush never strived for peace for one instant. What the hell are you talking about? Bush's plan was to invade Iraq no matter what, even if no WMD were found. That has been established now through British sources. If you think Bush tried for peace you're completely deluded. He had every opportunity to give the process time and did only the bare minimum, and even in those situations (Powell's speech at the UN) Bush-Cheney planted lies and phony intel in an attempt to hoodwink the world, congress and the American People.
