Ridgeland, MS, APR 12, 2006 (EventX/Knobias.com via COMTEX) --

<<Equity and commodity futures markets are little changed this morning. Early Q1 earnings are coming in on the positive side. CC, CHKE, DNA, DTLK, FAST, GTK, MBWM, MTOX & MMA all topped EPS expectations. However, DNA shares are weak in pre-mkt sell the news trading. Comm tech equipment (NOK, MOT) received positive analyst reviews this morning, but semi equipment names may come under pressure. DB sees a cyclical peak for ASML bookings and both SPIL & STTS were downgraded at Susquehana. KLAC won an RBC Cap upgrade to Sec Perf however. AVID received multiple downgrades after it warned on Q1 and full year earnings. Elsewhere, DCX CEO Dieter Zetsche told shareholders today that he expects improving profitability in 2006. JPM sees a rising tide of trash ahead and upped AW to OW. SYD and PRSF are higher on buyout offers. The U.S. trade deficit narrowed in February to $65.7 billion.>>
