Posting partisan material is a conundrum - it adds to variety but I have asked everyone to stick to the constructive partisan views and leave the let's-slam-the-Others pieces out. I know that is a subjective line.

As for responding to a partisan piece, challenging its facts or logic is fine, and saying "that is a clearly partisan view" is fine. Insulting the view just because it is from one side or the other gets out of bounds.

There are a couple of posters here - they know who they are - who still like to slip in snide taunts that I could do without. But most folks are sticking to a fairly polite moderate approach that works, even when partisan content is under discussion.

Speaking for myself, I try to post partisan stuff from both sides when it reflects a view I find interesting.
