First step is to eliminate auto citizenship for folks born here. I dont think thats a constitutional thing, just a law and since most of the world doesnt do what we do, lets just change it going forward and take care of those citizen children and their parents. Yes they won the lottery by getting here and having their baby here but thats been going on forever. Another first step is improving the border.
A Princeton sociologist wrote in the NYT last week is that the stricter borders now in effect make free flow back to mexico impossible. Folks used to come in thru san diego and san antonio, work for awhile and go back. Those cities have been sealed off so the 7000 mile border. Hire a coyote to get you across, you lose all incentive to go back. You come here and you are stuck. Some want to stay. Others would love to go home if they could come back the following season to pick fruit etc. I wonder if there is any truth to what this fellow says.
