Peter, Laz, and Thread, We made a dreadful mistake when we allowed the insurance industry to enter the healthcare market in the first place. We made an even worse mistake when we began expecting our employers to pay for this insurance. I don't think that presently there is any way to back away from those regrettable mistakes. The die have been cast and have been carved in granite.

Healthcare is a commodity, not unlike the groceries we buy on a regular basis, I do believe, and never should have been compensated as anything else or by anyone else, for such expectation of entitlement is, to my way of thinking, the major reason for the currently exorbitant costs of healthcare. - Holly
