I have to say that there are times when I think the DIS reports have an effect on a stock. This is not to say that there is an immediate effect. If you look back to the volume for all the "release" dates, you will see a pattern that could, by now, be seen as a trend. I think that the volume and price moves are marginally greater for those days than they would have been otherwise (At this point I must reiterate that the stocks we report on would have gone with or without us). The extra "emphasis" added by SI buying (remember there are more nonmembers than members involved) attracts attention to our picks. The stocks we have reported on so far have been worthy of this "extra" attention. The quality of the companies ensures that the "extra" attention results in extra buying. We hope to continue our mission of publicizing publicly traded companies that deserve greater attention and investor participation. Oh, and we hope to profit from our work as well. The internet is an "extra"ordinarily powerful tool when used properly and honestly. The effort that I have put into this endeavor comes from a desire to share what I can with small individual investors like myself. One day, I, and others with whom I am sharing, will have the financial stability required to become benefactors to not only our own families but to relatively significant portions of society in general.
