The WH is full of it denying Bush lied about the mobile labs. Clearly he was being dishonest and BS'ing the European press. Cheney and Rice were doing the same thing. Bush's only excuse would be that he's totally reckless and incompetent, not to mention ignorant of what was going on. When liars are caught lying it's usually one of those excuses. How was I supposed to know? Nobody told me. It's so and so's fault, he told me. It seemed true at the time. I forgot. Of course, if he wasn't 100% sure, why did he say it? Expect a lot more of those kinds of lame excuses in the future, and remember two Watergate conspirators were jailed for saying they didn't remember.
