When reading these comments from EX generals I would CAUTION everyone to take into consideration that Rumesfield is interested in DOWNSIZING the military to faster, harder hitting self contained units from the sprawling beauracracy it has been. Right now there are MORE generals running around then needed for a smaller manpower force, thus many of these comments likely are due to a desire to eliminate Rummy for PERSONAL reasons. jdn
