Mr. Michel Roy reports

ECU Silver Mining Inc. is providing further assay results from stope development of the A4 vein on levels 16 and 17, of the A1 vein on level 15.5 and of the new A3 vein on level 17, all in the Tres Aguilas area of the Santa Juana mine. These results were compiled from sampling vein development and mining (see Stockwatch, Feb. 23, 2006, and March 2, 2006).

Highlights:

A4 vein development on level 16 -- three samples averaged 15.01 grams per tonne gold and 1,546 grams per tonne silver (1.31 ounces per ton gold equivalent*) over a 0.32-metre (1.05-foot) width;
A4 vein development on level 17 -- 12 samples averaged 20.18 grams per tonne gold and 517 grams per tonne silver (0.93 ounce per ton gold equivalent*) over a 0.59-metre (1.94-foot) width;
A1 vein development on level 17 -- eight samples averaged 9.74 grams per tonne gold and 704 grams per tonne silver (0.69 ounce per ton gold equivalent*), 3.30 per cent lead and 7.91 per cent zinc over a 0.78-metre (2.56-foot) width;
A3 vein development on level 17 -- eight samples averaged 4.68 grams per tonne gold and 309 grams per tonne silver (0.32 ounce per ton gold equivalent*) over a 0.93-metre (3.05-foot) width; and
skarn samples from holes TA 17.5-03 and TA 17.5-04 were resent for check assaying.

* Gold equivalent is is gold plus silver converted in gold at a 60:1 ratio (base metals excluded).

The results outlined in tables 1A, 1B, 1C and 1D below were obtained from stopes, draw points and drifts. They show the continuity of the veins over three levels (135 metres vertically), with variable but generally excellent gold and silver grades. Furthermore, the newly discovered A3 vein gave solid grades for this section, with width averaging 0.93 metre. The drift opening this new vein will be continued over the next few weeks.

Furthermore, a portion of the skarn samples from the fifth and sixth holes (TA 17.5-03 and TA 17.5-04) was sent to a second and third laboratory for check assaying. Also, the remaining portions of the skarn, as well as the enclosing mineralized host rocks, were sampled and sent for assaying. Assays are pending and will be made public as soon as data become available.

Samples were assayed at ERSA, in Torreon, Coahuila, and at SGS new facility (formerly Mina de San Luis) in Durango, Mexico. Property-specific quality control samples were inserted at regular intervals in the sample sequence.
