Getting the share price up is tough going what with McKenna's "restructuring" efforts at SGI in full swing.

After McKenna was hired he said he would reduce spending from 100 to 150 Million Dollars in 2006...and cut 12% of the work force as well...some 250 jobs. There was little comment about this news at the time but, on refection, it's a real little bombshell for all those concerned with SGI.

From what I am hearing the reductions in force are happening right now and, I suspect, we are seeing those let go (fired, downsized, canned, whatever) dumping their SGI stock and moving on. Additionally, in getting spending down 150 Million Dollars, SGI Fed may go, along with other parts of the company.

The news for the upcoming 2nd quarter is going to be interesting I think.

Let's hope McKenna knows what he's doing...I think he does and is going be successful.
