You can't criminalize someone for accepting a fake ID unless you can prove he knew it was fake. Can you?

As I'm sure you are aware, there is a very easy way to check the validity of a Social Security Number.

I might be missing something, but it should not be rocket science to make sure the license and other documentation match the name the government has associated with the Social Security Number they give.
