re: a) The whole notion of "bang for the buck" when comparing across countries is bunk. Say who? It's apples and apples. re: b) Supporters of universal health care will always pick-n-choose their examples and ignore the problems. Look at Canada, for instance. BS, quite the opposite. The people who are against single payer ALWAYS site Canada, never anywhere else. re: c) 11 million illegal immigrants already take advantage of public health services such as emergency rooms, community clinics, etc. Any universal health care program will have to pay for them as well, unless you want to start asking for proof of legal residence in hospitals. We're paying now, nothing changes. John
