Three die in carbon monoxide leak
13 April 2006
THREE people have died at a house on the Thames View estate, Barking, following a carbon monoxide leak

Emergency services were called to Alderman Avenue at 2.30pm on Thursday where they discovered the bodies - one adult and two children.

Two other men were rushed to an east London hospital where they were treated but a police spokesman could only describe their conditions as "unknown".

Police and the fire brigade sealed off surrounding roads causing traffic chaos on the A13.

The spokesman said: "Post mortems will be scheduled in due course. It's early days yet so inquiries are ongoing but we must keep an open mind over the circumstances."
