AMD very subtly, I'd say, too subtly judging by today's action, sent the message last night that with gross margins now perhaps higher than INTC's, AMD isn't all that vulnerable, relative to INTC, in any price war.

Price reductions directly impact GM, so AMD can match any INTC price reduction and still have an equal or better gross margin.

Today just made no sense at all, unless one believes in stock price manipulation via option strategies, with a small number of players involved (collusion(?)), at least from my perspective.
