That's just hugely false. Plenty of "weaponizeable" materials were indeed found by all accounts I'm aware of.

Saddam's ability to defend his country, specifically Baghdad as you noted, has nothing to do with his terrorism capabilities, and so does not reflect at all on what level of a threat he was to America. Al Qaeda hasn't the means to gather to defend a city either, so far as we know, yet by your false logic we'd therefore conclude that Al Qaeda was no threat to America. This is a HUGE problem with the argument made by the anti-Iraq war left, that Saddam was not a threat to America.

I certainly hope you see the error you make.
