I looked for the current data. I rather doubt that the homicide rate doubled in Washington in 4 years. And if we're talking strictly gun deaths, then the number would be even less.

That blurb was misleading and wrong.

I have since found this:

What good does it do to cite irrelevant statistics which erroneously point out that Iraq is safer than Washington DC. You have to admit that the premise is pure bullshit.

The author of that blurb is obviously a lying Bush apologist like yourself.
