<if you want to go with a straight face to Iran and tell them that we want a NUKE FREE Middle East,>

I don't want a noocular free Middle East. I'm quite happy to have Israel armed with nukes [in the absence of a revamped UN with the right constitution]. They've had them for decades and I guess you've noticed haven't gone off obliterating cities.

Didn't you know that Iranians want to blow up Tel Aviv and in one go get rid of so many Jews that they'll have not many more to deal with? They say that Israel has only a few cities, whereas the Umma has LOTS and umpty million people, so the kill ratio should be fine and lead to victory for Islamic Jihad.

I am quite keen for such medievil people to not get anywhere near a nuke. I think it would be understandable if Israel took them at their word and removed the threat now, but redesigning Tehran into a parking lot. Jews have experienced in living memory people who think their extermination was an excellent idea. I don't see why they should allow another attempt.

Iranians think it is an excellent idea. It isn't. An Islamic Jihad bomb is a nightmare - they love death [so they say] and think martyrdom pretty cool. At least the Russians didn't think their own death was a good idea, so MAD wasn't pure madness.

<The Turks tried to exterminate the Greeks and I don't see Greece having any nukes When was that?

<If the U.S. is looking for an evil guy to point to, all they have to do is look at themselves and Israel. >

I think they have decided that Iran is more representative of evil than they are. I'm inclined to agree.
