If you doubt the author's numbers than why did you post it?

I took the highest homicide year for Washington, 2002, in the last decade and the murder rate was almost half of what the author said. That rate includes all types of murder including stabbings, chokings, bludgeoning and firearms. Yet is was about half of what the author lied about. Since 2002 the rate for Washington has fallen. So in the 22 months that he selected the rate most certainly was even lower.

I'm glad that you too admit that it was a lie. An anonymous lie printed in the SEP...that is a shame indeed.
