"those societies that choose needs over dogma survive, while those that choose dogma are relegated to the dustbins of history."

Note my comment about Hegel. Hegel thought it was natural for dogma to evolve. The development of widespread dogma brings about the necessity to reject it, and the change to something better than what was contained in the dogma. What good is an iconoclast if he will be believed in his own country.

Capitalism serves needs and ignores dogma, since dogma is the product of groups rather than of individuals.
