commercial short positions-moment of truth

gold-eagle.com

I could not copy the chart and post, but one should go to the above link and read the story and look at the chart. Look real hard as well at the band above the chart and look at the end. It loks different!

The commercial short position is 107,000 contracts. Virtually all traders would say a huge correction is in store. It always has in the past. Look at pink boxes.

Computer programs and that 18 year old-lol, look at this and say holy mackeral big correction coming! The reliability and predicability of this pattern is very high, but computers cannot think and this is where humans come in.

If there is an intervening variable like a paradigm shift, computers can be blind to this e.g. iran and US eyeball to eyeball or 2nd industrial revolution and this is where hedge funds get in trouble.

My own thining is that silver rose with all the other metals and oil and is unlikely to fall by itself. So if silver continues up a bit more the pattern is broken and then the commercials will need to do massive short covering and it could propel silver right past $15 easy.

We shall see. Left brain works like a computer, sequential logic, but right brain sees the big picture, "simultanous juxtapositiong of things". computers have no right brain only a left one-lol.
