As an aside, would you get the feds, who insist on "controlled burns" in your forests down there, to stop for a while. The smoke they're sending up here is downright nasty.

Called em up yesterday and asked them to pick a day when the winds were out of the west so you folks in or near Little Rock could get a whiff or two.

Guy laughed (he knew exactly where I was going with the conversation), but was noncommittal.

Are we surprised? Nah.
