Numbers Make My Head Hurt ...

Sisuman,

<< The numbers just don't add up. If Lehman is correct regarding Q1 >>

For fun let's plug LG in at an aggressive 15.5 million units (down only 4.5% from Q4 but equal to their Q3 production) and that leaves 38.7 million for "Others" and you are right, that seems awfully low, even though BenQ/Siemens, the Chinese, and the Japanese (outside their own domestic market) are likely to report very poor quarters. So either he's overly optimistic about Nokia and/or Moto or we'll see upwards of 220 million units sold-in, which I don't really expect.

I guess we best just sit back, relax, and enjoy the show.

Best,

- Eric -
