I've seen at least two interpretations of what an ignore list means.

There is one group that asserts that putting a person on ignore is an indication that the person has nothing of value to say [or is offensive.]

There is a second group that asserts that the person placing the ignore is cowardly and afraid to face the truth. That was something I recall from the wisdom of jla.
