Think they are going to try and pull off some one of a kind special mission, such as blowing up these sites, without using air missions. How many targets are there? The best way to do this, is just seriously damage them, with minimal loss of life. Actually using air power, bunker busting bombs, and attacks on Iranian territory would be a huge mistake. But after the sites are damaged or destroyed by special mission troops, or Iranian agents, the back channel message would be straightforward: if Iran retaliates, the US will seize the small border area holding 90% of Iran's oil, and choke hold them.
