A joke I've heard before --albeit with a different cast:
When God was making the earth, he decided to give Congo beautiful rainforests, a warm climate, tall mountains, a wealth of natural resources......oil, silver, gold, timber, diamonds, lead, zinc and copper. As he got to the end, he realized he had given Congo many resources, more than many other places in the world. How could he even things out so that Congo did not have such a huge advantage. "I know", he said, "I will give Congo Congolese".
When God was making the earth, he decided to give the Middle East beautiful beaches, a warm climate, a vast wilderness, a wealth of natural resources......oil and gas. As he got to the end, he realized he had given the Middle East many resources, more than many other places in the world. How could he even things out so that the Middle East did not have such a huge advantage. "I know", he said, "I will give the Middle East Arabs".
Ahhhhh......but was the Congo joke told by a Congolese; the Middle Eastern one by a Middle Easterner?
