I thought you were at least my age. I certainly remember when it was acceptable to think that homosexuality is evil. One of my favorite professors didn't get tenure because he was gay. I had a professor try to humiliate me in class for being a "libber" as he put it. I said something, and he wrote on the blackboard in big letters, "L I B" and he didn't mean "liberal." Thank God it was before last day to drop, I just walked out and dropped the class. Maybe 33 years ago, or 32. No, those days are gone. Pendulum swung the other way, maybe too far, that's the way pendulums go. Too far one way, too far the other way, never a happy medium. Hard to imagine forcing gays back into the closet but there are plenty still in the closet, aren't there? Never know who you might offend.
