re: ["how could you mistake GWB for anything other than an idiot.... spare us your anti Bush sermons."]
I like many other Republicans, was dead wrong about George W. Bush.
I bought the entire flag waving, born again - onward christian soldiers...we must defeat evil...cut capital gains and the death tax...stop the Clinton debauchery campaign.
...bought it hook, line and sinker.
I was wrong....completely wrong.
The problem lies with the campaign finance laws and the two party system. Money & Power have now been concentrated to a degree that the globalist intellectual and monied elite -- now control the US Political system.
The masses have now become apathetic, as they've come to the realization that they no longer have a voice, as their choice at the ballot box is usually between the lessor of two evils that are financed, controlled and owned by the monied elite.
Was there really a choice in America's best interest in either campaign between Bush #41, or #43 vs. Clinton/Gore and Carey?
Now, like millions and millions of other Republicans -- I've had and seen enough of the Bush-cartel family dynasty
It's time to wake up to the wholesale gutting of America as former Presidents, Pentagon Officials, CIA Directors, IRS Commissioners...and the likes of the Bush Family/Cheney-Big Oil/James Baker/Saudi Royal Family/Carlyle Group cartel siphon off hundreds of billions of American taxpayer dollars to line their pockets.
-- They've mortgaged America to the hilt.
-- They've stolen our children's future.
-- They've destroyed our pension and social security system.
-- They've gutted our infrastructure.
-- They've created an unprecedented debt & deficit spiral.
-- They've debased our currency.
-- They've ignored the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
-- They've sent our sons to War -- to protect their Oil interests and nothing more.
-- They've sold both our border security and strategic national infrastructure to foreign interests in return for lucrative investments in foreign enterprises benefiting from the gutting of America.
-- They've made jobs America's #1 export.
-- They've sedated America with the opiate of an endless supply of cheap credit and debt, created an illusion of wealth via the housing bubble and inflated financial markets.
But, America and especially longtime Republicans are finally starting to wake up...(admittedly, much too late).
All I'm trying to do -- is to pass along the smelling salts.
