>> You aren't the first to come here and attempt to "prove" that AMD is going to be driven into bankruptcy by Intel.

You are wrong about this. I couldn't care less whether Intel drives AMD into banruptcy or not, and whether anyone is convinced of that or not.

What I wanted to see was the reasoning behind people's strong expectation of a big share increase by AMD. Not from 10% to 20%. That was history before I posted anything here. But from 20% to 30%, which is the public goal of AMD management.

So as I said before, what are obviously intelligent people seeing that I don't see ?

Well, one answer is that I am not intelligent enough to see what you all see. OK, that's worth exploring.

The other answer is that the AMD enthusiasts are mistaken in their expectation. That's worth exploring also. If this subject is un-intersting to you, or my posts on it are useless for you, why do you respond to them and work ypurself into a lather ?

I've generally steered clear of calling anyone names. But it is a clue to the character of the rabid AMD supporters here that name calling is the first thing they do when someone does not pay the requisite homage to their idol.

Now about my volume of posts. They are responses to people who show up in my in-box. Show me a post to you that was not a response to your post ? The only post that I initiated on the thread was one where I asked if prospects for a high price in AMD stock depended on AMD achieving a 30% market share. There might be one other. But not more than that.
