I hope I'm doing more than guessing, but you're right, we're all looking "through a glass, darkly" when it comes to Mr. Market.

Interesting observation about the NDX decline overlapping with the March tops. The one that held was the one I think is the top of the i of the current wave up, on March 28th. Our retest of that level had decreased volume as well, which may be a sign that selling at that level is dried up and we run from here to new highs.

Otherwise, I think that bulls would need to seriously consider the proposition that we revisit the March lows on the NDX/COMP.
