Angela - to expound upon John's posts, think of it as a giant 3D chess game with several players. Each player tries to think about 6 steps ahead of time.

You have most of us who want the share price to increase, retail shareholders, insiders and management. You have others that are negotiating their interests in the revised entity, like partners and finance people. Then you have those who may want the price to fall, MM's and possible shorters.

Factor in "legal time," which is often defined in amorphous terms and you have ample reasons why mergers take longer to close and disclosures come out piece meal.

Bottom line is that the company has put a lot of things in writing that aren't normally done in pinkie land. The ownership by insiders of more than the legal float, possible dividend and projections of revenues, if honest and true, should support a multi-bagger gain. All JMHO.
