CJ, Because it blows out of the water the argument that just tightening the borders is the way to control illegal immigration.

What difference does it make whether they were unemployed or underemployed? They are not "slaves," but rather people who just want something better for themselves and their families.

Like Jim said, immigration laws must be enforced on all fronts. You can't just tighten the border OR go after the employer. You have to do both.
