Roger: Davidson's reasoning is if you are going to stay in at all, trying to win, you might as well win big, if it is only going to cost you only a few hundred dollars. I had 1500 shares at $2.00, and bought another 18,500, putting me in at average 16 cents, total 20,000 for $3,250.00, including commissions. I have a pure gambler's hunch on this situation. Guessing that the Kazaks want part of the production, which they don't get under the present contract, and they are trying to get it by intimidation which, if unsuccessful, will result in booting the Co. out of the country and giving the deal to somebody else. The other possibility is that the deal has already been given to another party behind the scenes, in which case we are dead already. The former alternative appears to be the case if someone in the know is accumulating. In either case, the presence of a hell of a lot of gold is implied. Logically, from the Kazaks' viewpoint, one would think it is the former, since KZGF is a very good operator, and is already in the saddle and producing--so if the Kazaks are not too greedy, the deal might be salvaged to the profit of everyone, including us, we hope. Please feel free to pick holes in this line of thinking. Geneat |
