I asked Schwab (US side) to set up Roxmark Mines for trading and they did. They didn't balk at the CNQ listing. I started my position and got filled a penny under my limit, right at the US/CDN exchange rate at the time. This CNQ exchange is not bad. It did take about 45 minutes with my bid a penny over the ask, so people should have patience. Anyone with a US Schwab account should be able to trade Roxmark by calling Global Investing at 800 992-4685. The Schwab symbol is 3188400, but telling them RMKL on the CNQ works just fine. The bad news is the Global Investing commission on pennys is $55 plus 4% of principal! Also, intraday limit changes, if executed, produce separate commissions. So, you have to watch for a block on the ask that is worth buying and then bid for it. Stink bids are not going to work with this commission structure. I'm not going to trade it anyway, so it works for me. I'm just going to watch it for a year or two and see what happens. The fundamentals look better than US Treasuries IMO. Time will tell.
