It is a complex problem Peter, that's for sure. BUT most of us have been trained to try to think simply, through the morass of complexity. i.e. ...Pick out the top 50 or 100 things that bother you on a particular subject. Then pick the top 10 of those items....THEN 3rd, pick your top 3 things that you really want to have something done about.....
This technique works for personal issues, or job seeking issues, and should work for our government and us....
IMO, again, security is the MOST important thing right now as far as our borders are concerned. Stop the flow of ILLEGALS. And while we are stopping them, have enough staff to stop them....send them back....or drop them in Antarctica, until they stop coming in ILLEGALLY.
As far as the people who are already here, we won't send those people back, if they want to do what it takes to either work here, have legal documentation, learn to speak English, and only stay the length of their guest worker card. Pay for their own medical insurance and/or treatments, get immunizations, etc. They need to go to the back of the line, behind all the people who are currently in the line to become a US Citizen already.
If they don't want to do either one, they have no business in the US. |
