Steve, there are two reasons why illegal immigrants are hired over legal residents. They work hard and they demand less. Two concepts that the liberal elite will never understand.

"Two concepts the liberal elite would never understand"? Where do you get this nonsense? It sounds like a reader from GOP headquarters. I would hope by now you are no longer believing quite so convincingly the party line.......about 25% of it is truth, the rest is either hyperbole or lies.

As for illegals working hard........that depends on the person. Some are hard workers, some are not.....just like the rest of us. Its a myth they all work hard for little money. Many have infiltrated the construction industry and make good pay. In fact, many are working in NO rebuilding that city.

And don't kid yourself.......there is are illegals who are criminals. Usually, they rob or deal in drugs. In LA, they were becoming more of a problem when I was leaving.

BWDIK? I'm just a "rich" engineer who has nothing to worry about. Except outsourcing, of course. I wonder how long it will be before Intel in Bangalore can do the job I'm doing. Another reason to keep my options open.

I agree. We all know that Indians work much harder than Americans for much less pay. (sic)
