Peter, Being firm, confident, and straight forwarded is what makes a person a good leader. He lets any opponent know that he is serious in his decisions, and is not to be thought a push over, or anyone that can be subdued. That shows the pride in being an American, and every President should show that pride to the rest of the world, but then along comes weasels like Carter, and Clinton. The only Democrat that I can remember who had that asset, was Harry Truman.
