Thanks, David. I'm not a fan of management trying to communicate directly with SI freaks. They certainly could avoid liability issues by merely summarizing stuff that has already been clearly presented in a public forum. Nonetheless, it sorta looks tacky to me when management trys to selectively placate the fears of the on-line community. Just my $0.02, but this company seems to have survived by transitioning to a relatively quiet period, where results have done the talking.

I have that one additional experience that enlarges my view of this company relative to others. Chuck Muscoplat "scooped" me ages ago. Since then, MOGN has poked around in areas that looked to be commercially viable but turned out not to be. Instead of going the route of a Collaborative Research or a Cetus Madison, they have been reborn on the backs of a conservative license and niche market strategy. Looks like clever fortitude to me...... Muscoplat has gone from monoclonals against E. coli pili to herbicide-resistant corn to being seond author on a Cancer Research article that duplicates and extends the results of Kelner, McMorris et al.

That is, these guys/gals look rather flexible and clever.

I have begun to contact small companies that specialize in the tissue- and tumor-specific targeting of molecules that would otherwise be toxic, recommending that they contact MOGN regarding the acylfulvenes.

Does anyone have a handle on the status of DHAC for MDS? Again, does anyone know if Orphan Drug status for pilocarpine extends to Sjogren's? Thanks.

Rick
