First, Windows and Office are cheap compared to health care... look at the percent of GDP for health care. Second, Windows and Office are discretionary, health care isn't. Third, the proposal isn't that government take over health care, it's that government take over health care insurance. Fourth, if everything should be private, why not have Gates take over the military, or the entire government?

Fifth, we have a sorry health care system that is ridiculously expensive and doesn't cover ~30% of the citizens. You have a suggestion, or are you just smugly satisfied with your own company paid policy and don't give a damn about the "little people" or the drain on the economy?
