These numbers seem high.

The one for the part of the world were CB and I live doesn't seem high at all. In my county it's 28%.

and then I also wonder how many generations of ancestors from BOTH sides of a persons family were from that particular country as well....

Where else would their ancestors have been born? It's not like earth has has such mass migrations the families change nationalities every generation or two. I think it's reasonable to assume that almost all Mexicans or Russians or Ethiopians who emigrate to the US had ancestors who were born in Mexico or Russia or Ethiopia, respectively. Perhaps Jamaican immigrants have some English ancestors or Mexican immigrants some Spanish ancestors, etc., but those ancestors would not likely be recent.
