There has yet to be any proof produced that Saddam assisted Al Qaeda on 9-11 or on any other occasion. Please provide links to your assertions. You don't need to provide a link for Saddam sending money to Palestinian suicide bomber's families. I know that is true. But still you have provided 0 evidence about Saddam and Al Qaeda.

We are in agreement that Saddam is a bad boy. Heck he's been cavorting with bad boys for decades, like Reagan and Rumsfeld.

What our disagreement is on is that a preemptive war and occupation of Iraq was not the best solution to the problem of Saddam. We will disagree on how dangerous Saddam was. Saddam was a bad actor...no doubt. But he was contained and was no immediate threat to anyone. The best thing we could have done was continue the inspections and up the ante on Saddam working in conjunction with the community of nations. I stated such way before the war began. I still believe it would have been the best thing to do.
