Tip for blending in as a long-time Victorian. Wear sandals (with socks) year-round. Wear baggy clothes (no creases ironed in pants). Grow hair long enough to wear in ponytail OR do not shave for 2 or 3 days. While in Oak Bay, drive 20 mph in all 30 mph zones. Everywhere else drive 40 mph. I think I'm missing a few things but this will be a start. (Disclaimer: This in no way describes CD or myself.)
