Hi guys, has anybody here looked into what gold is doing this spring .... did it hold up there in the 400s or fall back? ... prolly fell back, don't make any special effort looking it up, i was just curious .... and that pilfer stuff, or zifler, whatever it's called, you know the stuff, must be more or less metal-like because it made a nice clink in your pocket back when they used to make fifty-cent coins out of it, sort of silver-coloured or close, well over the years there's been talk, you know how people talk, of how this stuff could go to ten bucks, and i was wondering if it had made any progress in that direction ... but it's no big deal, if there's important stuff like religion or politics or the immutability of women or beer to talk about first
4.26, that's the s/r level i most remember for cpt ... first one i watched live was right around 2.00, then one at 3.20ish, briefly in the 3.70s and then 4.26 .... then, ahem, working backwards through all the above, to something like the high 1.50s [or 1.60s?], then 1.26 .... which seemed more stickey than other levels, for some reason, and many shares traded there, pretty solid support for weeks in the heat of summer six years ago .... but it gave way eventually [as you may have heard], and so when a couple of years ago the thing popped to 1.25 and bounced off i sold like crazy, after the first day of being frozen stiff with the shock of an actual uptick
This time around i'll let a few go in the 1.20s, but probably not many, and i'll try to stay ready to replace them in the 1.30s if/when that comes, as a quick trade .... just got the general feeling that while Rome wasn't built in a day, you likely would have noticed changes if you'd stopped in at two-year intervals, and they ultimately did get their shareprice through all previous s/r levels ... and, did you notice price/vol on the snmd pig today, ahem, hee hee, and without news too, well isn't that just the way
Frankly, was it you or ralfph who reminded me of Candente last winter? ... hmm, ralfph i think, anyway to whoever did, thanks a lot, i more than doubled up and wasn't sorry, held right through the elections, chose not to worry about it
Hope everybody's doing well, had a nice Easter holiday and is enjoying the spring ... life here, when i'm here, is dominated by a race of Short People, resident population of one but there are transients periodically, none much over knee high, charming little creatures but there are moments - 'daddy bad' she says, ouch, all i did was put the raisin bag away after four big fistfuls, lol, but the judgment cuts so deep, oooo ... kids are great, there's just not words for it |
