Thank you so much for posting that!~

I think many Americans' relationship with food is just sick. Food isn't the enemy- it's a wonderful part of our lives. If people would just take a little more time to eat quality, and buy really excellent foods, instead of shoveling in quantity crap, everyone would be healthier. American portions are ridiculous. No one should eat the kinds of portions most American restaurants serve- except, perhaps, for people engaged in manual labor- since they are the only people burning enough calories to eat such meals and not pack on extra fat- and even those people should be eating better quality fats and carbs.

Most of us in Ameirca aren't in danger of starving- and I'm trying to teach my kids that it's better to wait for a really good meal, or eating opportunity, than it is to simply give in to the urge to stuff your face quickly with some revolting fast food.
