Yes bremer probably was. Let me be more direct. Whats needed is a scapegoat so bush can get on with making the policy more believable going forward. Give the son of a bitch a gold watch. Rummy is a big boy and his service to his country over his lifetime doesnt escape me. I just know he make some big mistakes and is a lightening rod that needs to be removed for bush to succeed. Rummy cant change is nature as being an arrogant sob. Now is a time for someone less abrasive. Bill Martin was a great yankee mangager but so is joe torre. There is a 180 difference of style between the two of them but depending on the time and the team one succeeds where the other would fail.
