I've been looking at Birkenstocks for 12 years now, and I still can't stand them! I don't wear heels so often since moving to OR. I wear flats, gold or black. I have sparkly ones, too. Slides in the summer. I do have a couple of pair of god-awful tennies that cost a fortune, but are supposed to be great for the feet. I hate them. LOL
