"Plus not exactly inspiring news from either AMD or Intel on Q2."

Although I agree, that the YoY revenue decline is in direct contrast to the increased units, by 10% to 15%, that we keep hearing about, within this context I see:

AMD rev's YoY up 73% from 750M to 1299M and INTC's rev's down YoY almost 10% from 6861M to 6239M. (Furthermore, as BUGGI pointed out, AMD has guided flat to down for Q2, while INTC has guided down, yet another $600M, $450M of which will be CPU's)

(When I read between the lines, I can't help but conclude that INTC pulled out any remaining ammo it had in Q1 as evidenced by GM 5 point reduction to 55% vs. AMD's 58.5% and AMD's rising ASP vs. INTC's fast declining ASP, only to find AMD now basically impenetrable to INTC's scorched earth price reductions...INTC trying to unload product that nobody wants at any price?)
