Buggi: Great find! I found especially interesting the following:

The slide from your first link at the 45 nm node that mentioned IBM's "HOT" technology. Wasn't that the basis for the IEDM Power paper for that smoking 5 GHz processor they presented?

Your second link includes a slide that provides a time sequence from Dual Stress Liner, to "enhanced strain, enhanced silicide", to "embedded SiGe", to "enhanced SiGe". Looking good...

The second link slide showing: "All AMD products, and at least three performance grades for each product, introduced simultaneously, ON ONE TOOL SET", is killer, and very similar to Seagate's strategy, in which everything from 1" CE drives to 3.5" enterprise drives are made with one set of gear.
