Bush Approval Rating at Record Low of 33 Percent, Fox News Says April 20 (Bloomberg) -- President George W. Bush's approval rating fell to 33 percent, a record low, dragged down partly because the president is losing support among rank-and-file Republicans, Fox News said. Public support for the president is down from 36 percent two weeks ago and 47 percent at this time a year ago, the television network reported. The poll gave a worse rating to the Republican-led Congress: 25 percent approved of the way lawmakers are doing their job, down from 40 percent approval at this time a year ago. One-third of the Senate and all members of the House of Representatives are up for re-election in November. bloomberg.com
