<Factor in much more support activity because of all the virus/spam/spyware holes in Windows that generates additional tech support traffic, and you have a mess...> No. Factor that in and you have a bigger mess. Because the run around about it was a vendor installed product begins. No help from MSFT because they say Dell installed 'the Dell branded version'. No help from Dell cause they say its MSFT problem. So neither company owns up to the support. They just tell the customer to call the other after a good snooze in phone tree maze hell and a garbled talk with Fred "the linguist" Katmandurahzeev.
